SOPEF has two strategic investors, the Spanish Development Financing Company (COFIDES) and the Oman Investment Authority (OIA).

The Oman Investment Authority (OIA), the sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman that manages the country’s surplus oil and gas revenues. Its objective is to achieve the best long-term returns and support the government’s efforts to diversify revenue sources and secure the needs and expectations of future generations.
