Madrid, March 3rd 2023 – With a track record of more than 70 years since its foundation in 1949 by Fernando Maestre, FERMAX is today a multinational company with a global presence that markets from its headquarters in Valencia about 60% of its products and technologies to more than 70 countries around the world.
Today, with about 450 employees worldwide, and more than 60 engineers dedicated to innovate and develop products, FERMAX leads the market with the most technological solutions in the sector. The company’s innovation capacity is focused on connectivity and residential communication in buildings, ranging from traditional audio door entry systems to the most advanced video door entry systems, security systems, home automation and access control. FERMAX completes the 2022 fiscal year with global sales of more than 75 million euros.
MCH is a private equity firm founded in 1998. The company manages around 1,500 million euros through different funds and is one of the leading fund managers in the Spanish market. Its funds focus their activity mainly on participation in Spanish companies, pioneers in their corresponding markets and managed by solid professional teams, with the aim of promoting their growth, leadership and internationalization.
FERMAX’s management team led by Jeremy Palacio, who is appointed President and CEO, will continue to lead the management. Together with MCH, they share the objective of driving the company’s growth in the coming years, consolidating the excellent drive for innovation, technological development and manufacturing in Spain, taking advantage of the opportunities that new technologies, connectivity, mobility and digitalization offer to the buildings, housing and residents market.
In short, the main purpose of the project is to strengthen the company’s commercial development, both in Spain and fundamentally in international markets, while maintaining the company’s culture and values.
